In line with our rapid expansion, we are looking for a highly motivated account executive to supplement our sales efforts in the APAC region.
About the Role
As the Account Executive, you’ll act as the first point of contact for our existing and future customers. Your role will oversee much of the sales process within the APAC market and assist the sales director in improving overall sales numbers. You will be tasked to reach out and develop a relationship with prospects and introduce them to our solution and attempt to understand their needs and how our solutions are the right fit for their use case.
You will also work closely with our existing customers, maintaining excellent relationships. You will need to understand their needs and guide them through various processes, such as subscription renewals. You will need to ensure that they are making the most of our various features and are happy to continue benefitting from our solutions.
Note this is a remote opportunity for individuals residing in the APAC region, preferably in Singapore and Hong Kong
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who “owns” this role and has a strong work ethic driven by positive energy and thrives on challenges, alongside a desire to grow with the company!
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in software sales
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work as a team player and meet targets
- Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Having a good understanding of the financial planning and analysis industry is a plus
- Applicants residing in Singapore and Hong Kong will be given preference
Responsibilities:
- Meet individual quarterly and annual sales goals
- Be able to understand and convey the value Acterys provides to businesses and take prospects from the discovery stage to activation.
- Manage all aspects of the sales process (prospecting, sales meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations and account management)
- Cultivate sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their business needs and providing additional Acterys solutions to optimize growth
- Become an expert in managing your sales pipeline in HubSpot
- Manage pipeline creation, order processing, and day-to-day customer requests
- Use your sales acumen to anticipate and overcome customer objections to close sales
- Must follow company policies and procedures and comply with Occupational Health and Safety directives [this is always needed to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures in Drata]
